Harbor: A Haiku...!!!

Hunter waits
for harbored seals; who
will harbor?

Written for: Haiku-Heights(part of The April Heights Month)

PS: The increase in hunting of Seals have made them reach the point of extinction...and if its not reduced...then no wonder they might be extinct in the near future... :(

PS: Can anyone provide secure shelter to them...??? Can anyone HARBOR them...??? :O

  1. sooo deep... soo important..
while there might not be strict actions agaist these cruel acts,
we could hope there would be some, soon.
    you started this in words,
someday, i hope, we should hope,
    it turns into action.

    excellent haiku Sarab.. :)

  3. Well thought and written haiku. There are people who depend on seals for food though, these are the Inuit. It is difficult to separate the necessity for food from the greed of the fur trade.

  7. So sad :( Even there is *so called* law to control the number of animals and species that can be killed.. but it is still uncontrollable due to illegal hunting.. People are so greedy! And what about abused animals / pets? How can people be so cruel and selfish? We are suppose to protect them!
Just hope for the best for ALL (animals). Where hope grows, miracles blossom..

p/s: Since your blog and your haiku are my new fav, I've given you an award.. Visit my blog and check it out! ;)
