19th Jan 1995...A Weirdly Weird Day...!!!

What's the age difference between you and your sibling...??? Obviously, you'll reply in some years, but has anyone replied to you in exact years, months and days...??? Maybe not...

Anyways, me and my sister never faced this problem, we can reply to anyone without any trouble of calculating...Its because once we calculated, it was something we couldn't forget and I bet you wouldn't either... ;)

It was weird or you can say IT IS weird...but we two have an age difference of 4 years, 4 months and 4 days...exactly... :P

Yeaahhh...you guessed it right, 19th Jan, 1995 was the day when my sister was 8 years, 8 months and 8 days old...and I was 4 years, 4 months and 4 days old...exactly double... ;)

I was told by my parents that this day was celebrated, but I don't remember it... :'(

I've discussed this fact to many of my friends when we talked about our family and siblings...but never felt like writing here before today when my roommate and I were filling an application form and I saw his birth date and he was exactly 1 year, 1 month and 1 day elder to me...

Yeaahhh again...it happened with me again...this time not my sibling, but my roommate...Suhas Agarwal... :P

A Long and A Lone Run.. Few thoughts..!!

Covid-19 has got to the nerves of everyone, someway or the other. However, there is one thing that has helped me maintain my sanity is endurance sports, like long runs and long bike rides. There are days, when I've started doing my own mini-duathlon (say 20-30km bike ride followed by 10k run). This might sound awkward to many, but there are few who will be okay with me doing this. Despite all this, even with so much physical activity, I've never attempted a half marathon alone. All my 14 half-marathons have been in some event or the other. Maximum distance I've covered alone, I guess, will be around 17-18km at a stretch. So to give it a try, last weekend, I thought of attempting a half marathon. All alone. I made this decision pretty late I guess, as weekend was almost over. Few days ago, I was wondering around thinking about, what will be our future????? We are always consoled by our parents that we have a bright future and we are going to reach the new heights of success.....but are we really gonna have it???????? A couple of decades earlier, it was easy for one to get placed.....Anyone somehow, someway get settled. No tension.
