Alive: A Haiku...!!!

"Dead body of a soldier overrun by a tank"

Alive. Dead
another moment.
Do we care?

Sacrifice,
they do it for us.
Do we care?

Lone family,
left crying behind.
Do we care?

PS: Just ask this question to yourself...Do you really care for them...???

  2. A very intense take on this prompt. The Life n death of a soldier and his/her family is something no one will totally comprehend until they belong to one!

  7. You're right, each moment is a life unto itself. And we'd better appreciate each one before we have none left.

  8. I think most people care. But for me the question is, do we care enough to stop war and make peace?

  10. We live in a world where an actor being detained at an airport grabs more airtime and eyeballs than millions of people dying of hunger, soldiers dying unnoticed, crimes against humanity and other social crimes..

I sadly say that our real heroes and celebrities are not cricketers or actors.. they are the soldiers, doctors, firemen, police and all the people who are helping us sleep soundly at night, while they toil away 24x7

    A very thought-provoking haiku dude!

  11. The picture is chilling! Anything can happen in a war and no one cares! A war should not have started in the first place!
